IGP stands for Indicación Geográfica Protegida, that is, the name given to a product that is grown in the region of El Bierzo.

Industrias del Bierzo, S.A., uses this reference to encourage and promote the traditional agriculture from El Bierzo which offers a lot of excellent delicacies, preserving their traditional methods of tinned food production and applying them to high quality products.

With a certification given by the Consejo Regulador that controls the production of roast peppers from El Bierzo IGP.
